One Bread, One Body

15  I speak as to sensible men; judge for yourselves what I say.  16  The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ?  17  Because there is one bread, we who are many are one body, for we all partake of the one bread.  1 Corinthians 10:15-17 (Revised Standard Version)

One Bread, One Body by John Foley
Refrain
One bread, one body,
one Lord of all,
one cup of blessing which we bless.
And we, though many,
throughout the earth,
we are one body in this one Lord.

1. Gentile or Jew,
servant or free,
woman or man, no more.

2. Many the gifts,
many the works,
one in the Lord of all.

3. Grain for the fields,
scattered and grown,
gathered to one, for all.
